ABOUT THE EVENT

The Make Good Famous Summit is an annual convening that brings forth some of the most innovative cross-sector minds to positively disrupt the impact landscape and to be a place of connection. Our goal is to spark fresh ideas by challenging conventional thinking, fostering an inclusive and loving community, sparking innovation, and inspiring people to take action to ‘do good’ in their own communities.

In 2024, we asked the question: In this era of extreme divisiveness, how can we harness the power of culture to bring us together and forge community?

At a time when the world has never felt more divided, our vision for our second annual Make Good Famous Summit was to forge a community ready to drive progress – and that’s exactly what happened.

Our ever-inspiring Elevate Prize winners, GET LOUD’ers, and CNN Heroes came together in our hometown of Miami, along with changemakers and leaders from across sectors to listen, discuss, and imagine.

From inspiring speakers and illuminating panels, to announcing our latest Elevate Prize Catalyst Award winner (Dwyane Wade!) — not to mention sunrise yoga, explosive performances, wellbeing sessions, and heartfelt discussions over dinner — we went deeper around how community and culture are at the center of meaningful change.

It was an invigorating week of abundance and action around our mission.

I said this to those in the room but will echo it to our online community here: In this era, so often defined by polarization, we need to remember – we are all we’ve got.

It’s a journey — one that I’m so honored to be on with you, our community.

In gratitude,

Carolina Garcia Jayaram
